Overview
The PALNI Study of Student and Faculty Habits (Information Needs Assessment Project) seeks to discover the information seeking behaviors of members in our campus communities, some of whom may never interact with the library. This team developed a toolkit (https://bit.ly/INAPtoolkit) of specific qualitative research methods (including interviews, mapping, and photo methods) and first implemented it across PALNI during 2017-2019, with additional rounds in 2023 and 2025.
We wrote one consortial level report in 2020: http://bit.ly/palni-inap.
