This session will be a discussion about accessibility issues, concerns, and compliance. Key outcomes will include identifying current processes and procedures as well as prioritizing accessibility components for a future task force to address.

PALSave: PALNI Affordable Learning (Recorded on Zoom!)

The PALNI Affordable Education Initiatives Task Force has recommended a plan for affordable education that includes membership in the Open Textbook Network (OTN) and engaging faculty with open educational resources (OER) and library content for teaching. Attend this session to learn more about the PALSave program, our membership with OTN, and future plans for affordable learning across PALNI.
Emerging Technologies: An Update and Demo from the Tech Tools Task Force (Recorded on Zoom!)

The Tech Tools Task Force, part of the Instructional Technology advisory group, has been building a technologies list, developing criteria to evaluate and recommend tools, and hopes to have a preliminary technology toolkit website available by the end of the summer. This breakout session will include an overview of the work the task force has done to date, a demo of several technologies with application to library instruction, and time for discussion.

Best Practices in Online Course Assessment Discussion
This discussion will center around the work of the Online Course Assessment Task Force. A rubric draft will be shared which focuses on criteria that ultimately will assist with improving the quality of online courses in relation to accreditation and departmental needs. Discussion will center around institutional use of this rubric model, additional criteria considerations, and how best to communicate resources to faculty and Centers for Teaching and Learning.
