[For Librarians: The purpose of this section is to provide a guide to the most important resources the library can offer its faculty. Librarians please review and update content according to your university.]
The library offers a wide range of resources and services to enhance your courses, support student learning, and streamline your own research. This section introduces key tools and collections that are available to you as faculty:

The library provides access to scholarly databases and journal subscriptions in your discipline for faculty, staff, and students. You can also point students to these resources when assigning research projects of all kinds, and use the permalinks below in your course to provide access.
Additionally, you can supercharge your own online searches by integrating library links into your research process. See below for instructions on connecting library holdings to Google Scholar, and how to download the LibKey Nomad browser extension to provide you with links to library PDF content, even when searching beyond library databases.

Course Reserves or Reserves are items (books, videos, etc.) that are placed behind the Library Service Desk for use in a specific course. Usually reserve items are loaned for short periods so that an entire class has the chance to use the material. Faculty members may request that library owned or personal copies of items for class use be placed on Reserve. See the library website or contact a library staff member or librarian for instructions.

Are you planning on assigning films in your course? The library can help! See below for our current streaming videos, and email your library liaison to ask about a specific film.

The library provides free access to selected newspaper content. Faculty, staff, and students may register for an account for unlimited article access from the following titles:

Interlibrary Loan, commonly referred to by the acronym ILL, is an aid to your research process. ILL helps you obtain books, periodical articles, and other media that are not available locally. Through state, regional, and national sources we have access to millions of items from other libraries. PALShare is a lending program within the PALNI consortia. PALNI or Private Academic Library Network of Indiana consists of over 20 private academic libraries around the state. See the library website or contact a library staff member or librarian for instructions.
