PALNI LibGuides Maintenance Checklist

Ongoing:
☐ Remove database links as resources are canceled.
☐ Add links to recently added resources (databases, books, etc.)
☐ Remove access and assets for employees who have left. Confirm at least two employees have admin level access at all times.
☐ Unpublish class guides for courses not running in the following semester.


Summer:
☐ Review statistics for guides. Determine a plan of action for guides with low use.
☐ Review all guides for out-of-date content.
☐ Review database screenshots or tutorials. Has the interface changed?
☐ Review subjects, tags, and groups (if used) for all guides.
Delete unmapped assets.
☐ Use the LibGuides link checker (found under the Tools menu) to check your guides for dead links.
